About Us

Administration of the Central Wisconsin Nature Foundation is strictly voluntary, and local Adams County residents are encouraged to participate. Meetings are open to the public, and held at the Lake Sherwood Lodge, in the Town of Rome.

The CWNF is included in Adams County's 5-year Parks Plan.

The CWNF is also a member of the Central Sands Water Action Coalition.

Projects supervised by the CWNF board of directors include:

Stewardship of Twin Lakes Nature Preserve

Stewardship of a Free Little Library located in the parking lot of Twin Lakes Nature Preserve.

Annual spring cleanup of Twin Lakes Nature Preserve.

Biological eradication of purple loosestrife by raising Cella beetles
